Three teenagers were on a late night ride when the driver lost control. Suffolk County Police report that the three teenagers were driving on Sandra Drive in Hauppauge. The teen driving the vehicle lost control of the car and crashed into a tree. Suffolk County Police and Smithtown Fire Department responded to the call after the accident. Firefighters had to cut of the passengers from the wrecked car. He was taken St. Catherine’s of Siena Medical Center; located at 50 Route 25A, Smithtown, NY 11787. His injury was fatal. The two others in the car were taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center to be treated for their injury. No police charges of DWI have been filed of yet.
