Man Impaled By Metal Post After Vehicular Accident

A man involved in a vehicular accident was impaled by a metal post when police found him. When officers arrived on the scene, they were surprised that a 3-inch wide metal post from a road sign was sticking from the man’s body. The post was cut from one end of the sign and man was transported to the hospital with a large part of the post still inside his body. The rest of the post was removed during surgery.

The post, said a New York Injury Lawyer, missed all vital organs and was lodged between masses of muscle and tissue. The man was very lucky as the post missed organs such as the bladder and liver by mere inches. The part of the post removed weighed about 11 pounds. While the man will have to undergo a long recovery process, it could have been much worse if the post had hit any of his organs.

The man had been talking to his sister-in-law on his cell phone when he lost control of his pick-up truck and hit the metal post. The man, who had recently lost his job, was enrolling in a local college to learn a new trade. It had been snowing that night which could explain how the man lost control of the pick-up truck so easily.

Woman accused of killing CHP Officer in crash now faces civil suits as well, cites NY Injury Lawyer

A 23 year old woman who was flying high on Methamphetamine at 67 miles per hour crashed into a California Highway Patrol officer, last June, killing him instantly, claims a New York Injury Lawyer. The accident left the family of the officer devastated, and the driver who is accused of killing the man behind bars.   This is the same as Drunk Driving. Reports obtained by authorities stated that the family of the victim is now filing civil suits against the woman in addition to the criminal charges being held against her. Police in the Bronx and Brooklyn want to make certain that they send a message that what the woman did was wrong and they state that all of the money that is won in the case will go towards helping others, in particular young people who want to become police officers.   The Lawyer also stated in his report that the widow of the officer who was killed, along with his parents, had filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the woman in addition to a complaint of personal injury and property damage. Two dead in car wreck involving semis

Anytime an 18-wheeler is involved in a car wreck, the results are never pretty, said the NY City Car Accident Lawyer. This case is a prime example of a terrible wreck that killed two elderly people; a pastor and his wife. The collision happened at an intersection and involved two semis. Somehow or other, the pastor’s vehicle was caught in between the two trucks and the truck behind them rear ended their car, causing an underride accident.

Three People Injured After Vehicle Hits Utility Poles

A car crash sent three people, one man and two women, to the hospital for a variety of injuries. While it is unknown the extent of their injuries, both women had to have surgery. The man suffered a few minor injuries, but did not have to have surgery. The women have been listed in stable condition. The man has since been released from the hospital. He was accused of distracted driving. In New York City and Queens this is a common occurrence.

Speeding is the alleged cause for the crash that happened on a Tuesday around 11pm. The man driving the car lost control and crashed into two utility poles. According to a New York Injury Lawyer, it was estimated by police that the car skidded on the road for at least 70 feet before hitting the poles. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. It is unknown how fast the car was traveling at the time. Police officials may be able to estimate the speed of the car by testing the tire tracks and skid marks. It is unclear how road conditions were the night of the accident. Rain soaked roads make traveling at fast speeds very unsafe. Two Officers Involved in Vehicular and Motorcycle Accidents

Two police officers riding motorcycles were injured in separate accidents in Atlanta, Georgia on a Tuesday evening around 9pm. Both accidents happened within minutes of each other, reports a New York Injury Lawyer. One officer suffered minor injuries while other will have to undergo surgery after fracturing one of his legs. The drivers of the vehicles involved in the accidents were charged with failing to yield when turning left and failing to yield for an emergency vehicle.

The first accident occurred as the officer was on his way to help with crowd dispersal after a basketball game. The driver failed to yield before making a left turn and crashed into the motorcycle. The second accident occurred as the other officer was responding to the first accident. The driver in this accident failed to stop to let the motorcycle cross the street first. Two Car Crashes Put Traffic On Hold

It became necessary for firefighters from Great Harwood and Clitheroe, to cut the door off the silver Chevrolet Matiz, in order to get the 79 year-old lady passenger out of her vehicle.

In heavy traffic like in The Bronx and Brooklyn distracted driving is common.

Truck Driver Hits Two Police Vehicles

A man driving a semi-truck hit two police patrol cars near Ritzville, Washington. No one was seriously injured, but one of the patrolmen was taken to the local hospital after suffering a few injuries, reports a NY Car Accident Lawyer. It is unclear at this time if the mechanical failure caused this accident or if the man driving the truck is to blame. There was no evidence of alcohol in the accident.

According to a Lawyer, two police patrol cars were sitting side-by-side on U.S. 395 when the accident occurred. The semi-truck went over the center divider and struck both cars. The policeman taken to the hospital has been on the police force for 19 years. The other policeman was not injured. The driver of the truck did not suffer any injuries either. The police are currently looking for any witnesses who may be able to provide additional details into how this accident occurred.

It is not uncommon for accidents like this to occur on major highways like the ones in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Man Dies in Single Car Accident, Alcohol Suspected

Two men were injured, one of them fatally, in a recent single car accident. The young men were driving an older pickup truck when it went off the road and into a ditch. The vehicle hit a road sign when it went onto the side of the road. Police did not say if the men were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the incident or whether the vehicle had airbags.

One of the young men was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other young man was hospitalized while receiving treatment for his injuries. His injuries were severe enough that he was later transported to a second hospital to get further treatment.

At the time of this article, the man had been released from the hospital. It was not known if he had been released by his doctor or if he had left the hospital against doctor’s orders, states a New York Car Accident Law Firm. Because of the severity of the injuries, the young man will probably require long term medical care, although the exact nature of his injuries was unknown at this time.

Alcohol Involved in Accident Which Killed Pedestrian

A pedestrian has been killed after being involved in a fatal traffic accident. Eye witnesses claim that the pedestrian ran out in front of the car. However, according to police reports obtained by the New York Car Accident Law Office, the driver of the car is thought to of been drinking before the accident occurred. It is strongly suspected that drink had a big role to play in the death of this pedestrian.

The victim was in his mid 20’s and was struck by the car as he stepped out in front of it. He has been charged by police with driving under the influence of alcohol and battery. The man has yet to be identified, but police have mentioned that he was from Hispanic descent. The name of the victim will not be released until the family has been contacted.

The accident happened during the early hours of Sunday morning at around 3 AM. The police report shows that the driver was driving along route 17 and was quite close to Gamble Road.
