As we age, our facilities begin to decline at a pretty rapid pace, at least for some of us. Within just a few short months we can find ourselves unable to read the fine print on a can of soup where just a few weeks earlier we could get there if we squinted. Our memories begin to blur, and we have difficulty recalling names of people we have known for twenty years or more. This is part of the normal aging process, reports one New York Car Accident Lawyer, but what effect does aging have upon our driving?

Last week a 92 year old woman lost control of her car and flipped it into a ditch. She was non-responsive when medical personnel reached her and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, reports from a New York Injury Lawyer said. No one knows exactly what happened to the woman or why she lost control of her vehicle.

A New York Car Accident Lawyer suggests that the aging process may indeed have a debilitating effect upon our driving skills. Elderly people tend to be more absent minded and also tend to startle more easily. Though it is speculation at this point, pending further details about this particular case, it is fair to suggest that one of these scenarios could have occurred just moments before the woman lost control of her vehicle.

Early morning commuter traffic is usually fairly predictable. Living in the city means that if we even drive, the closer in we get, the closer we are to getting stuck. Millions of commuters drive into the city for work every morning, says a New york Car Accident Lawyer. The crashes that we see run the gamut from being small nuisances to horribly traumatic tragedies. Officials say the best they can hope for is the minor nuisance where each parties insurance companies are contacted and they both drive off.

Last week the early morning commuters got a little less predictability when their morning rush hour turned into a multiple car pile up that injured five people and involved three separate collisions. According to a New York Injury Lawyer who was on the case, the sequence of crashes began when the driver of a Ford Mustang collided with an SUV. The SUV ended up crossing into the left lane and was then struck by a Toyota RAV4, creating yet another tailspin on the opposite side of the road.

Reports from the New York Car Accident Lawyer said that basically no one was seriously injured in the series of collisions, though there were some minor facial cuts and scrapes and a small child, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, had a possible broken leg. Everyone left the scene of that accident without having to be admitted into the hospital. For many, they went home that night and counted their blessings, because they know how much worse it could have been.

The last month of the year is a blur for most of us as the holiday season gets underway and we start planning parties and dinners and gifts and festivities. According to a New York Car Accident Lawyer, we get ramped up for celebration right around the beginning of December, and that changes our habits. In some tragic instances, it changes everything.

Reports by a New York Injury Lawyer state that a married couple from Illinois were on their way home from a party one bitter night in early December. The snow limited the visibility from within the car and the husband could not see what was in front of him. He lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole in the middle of the night on a quiet snow covered road. The husband was killed instantly, but the wife was nowhere to be found. People on the scene said that the only evidence they had that remained of her was a shoe and a bit of fabric from the dress that she was known to have been wearing at the party.

The New York Car Accident Lawyer later announced that it had been revealed that the couple had four children. Obviously the death of one parent and the disappearance of the other right before Christmas is something no child deserves to experience and in that sense is utterly incomprehensible. But when the news came that their Mom had been found, the news was bad, as the body of the woman was located in a field several miles away from the site of the crash.

All across the country there are incidents where people cause damage and injury with their vehicles and then flee the scene out of fear, reports a New York Car Accident Lawyer. While most of us would never run away, there are some people who panic and let their fear take over. This always results in more difficulties than it offers solutions.

A New York Injury Lawyer report cites an incident last week in New Hampshire. A man lost control of his Saturn and veered across the center line into oncoming traffic, which happened to be a Buick containing two individuals. The driver of the Buick proceeded to lose control of the vehicle, landing himself in a ditch. Both driver and passenger were later transported to the hospital with minor injuries and then released.

The man in the Saturn who caused the accident was never found. Police in New Hampshire are still searching for him. He apparently pulled the car into a parking spot on the street and then fled in fear, and he is still at large, says the New York Car Accident Lawyer. More investigation will be necessary.

Driving while tired or physically exhausted is dangerous and could kill you or some one you love. There can be nothing more tragic or more easily remedied if people would just pace themselves and get enough sleep. According to a New York Car Accident Lawyer it happens often. One moment a late night driver is staring at the lines in the dark whizzing past on the road and the next he open his eyes, not entirely sure how far he has driven or for how long.

Studies by a New York Injury Lawyer say that these situations are precursors to serious accidents and that they should be avoided by refusing to drive when you start nodding off. Pull over. You cannot go on. Sleep in a grocery store parking lot if you have to. Over the new year there was a mother who was driving her entire family through the New Mexico night. So in an instant the lives of a husband, a wife and three children were forever changed as the woman lost control of her vehicle, which flipped and rolled across the pavement, killing her ten year old son and injuring her other family members.

This could have been prevented, insists a New York Car Accident Lawyer. Responsibility and being open to change your plans and take a nap rather than try to struggle on are key factors in how this tragedy could have been prevented. And perhaps what is even more important is awareness. The awareness of one persons tragedy will remind others who are in similar situations and in this way, maybe someone close to them pulls over one night instead of trudges through, even though it makes them forty minutes late.

The New Year brings a new cycle of events. It is like starting the wheel of time all over again and wondering what will pop up on the clock of events this year that we have not yet experienced. People get excited at the possibilities. People make new starts, according to a New York Injury Lawyer, and sometimes those new endeavors land them in the hospital, or worse.

Some people start new careers, people like a young Florida woman who had recently moved to Miami to study the culinary arts, according to a New York Car Accident Lawyer on the scene. She was having an excellent New Year, until the early morning hours of January 2, when the vehicle that she was traveling in with three other people was hit by a driver who had run a red light. Imagine the terror of that moment. Time stops, sounds amplify, chaos is evident and fear is at its peak.

When the noises of twisting metal had silenced and the wreckage had settled into its final stopping place, the morning hours had gone from peaceful and routine to electrified and eerie. Two people had died, and one of them was a beautiful 19 year old student who had just arrived to live her new life in a new city in a new year, according to the New York Injury Lawyer that was close to the case.

Basketball is a team sport that requires perseverance, determination, strength, speed, skill and stamina. Millions of fans across the country feel the rush of the game on the screen and in person, according to a New York Injury Lawyer, and its competitive team spirit makes it one of our most beloved past times. And so it was for a Florida man and his date who were driving home late one night after a victorious win by the Orlando Magic.

The Magic had played a great game and the couple were cruising down I-4 on a high that only a win can give, says the New York Car Accident Lawyer who was close to the scene. Sadly, even the high of the win cannot fend off the most unwelcome of guests, that of tragedy. As the driver tried to pass another vehicle he lost control of his car and ended up in the center grass median.

The grass medians are effective at stopping accidents from becoming multiple car accidents, according to a New York Injury Lawyer that is familiar with such things. The medians often contain cable fences that prohibit cars from continuing into oncoming traffic. The night of the accident, those cables did their job, except for the fact that they caused the sports fans vehicle to flip over in the grass.

A minivan carrying 14 members of a small Bronx church blew out a rear tire on the New York State Thruway and crashed. The church bishop, his wife, and four others were killed.

The parishioners were headed to a church banquet in Schenectady when the van’s left rear tire blew out, according to a New York Accident Lawyer. The 1997 Ford van rolled several times, throwing some of the passengers out of the vehicle.

“It was a pretty significant event in my professional career to have seen something like that,” a major of the New York State Police told a New York Accident Lawyer. He and other officers were shaken by the scene of the aftermath. “It was a tragic scene to witness, and our prayers go out to the families.”

It was a sad day for the family of a New York school teacher as he was tragically killed by an out of control motorist who was driving under the influence, reports a New York Injury Lawyer. The man was in his mid sixties and was considered a shining star at his school. In an era where so many seem to not care, he went out of his way to be there for students: even in retirement he still tutored as many pupils as he could and was proud to proctor the end of the year examinations.

Said a New York Car Accident Lawyer: the motorist has been charged with numerous criminal counts, including: second degree manslaughter, second degree vehicular manslaughter, driving an unlicensed automobile, reckless driving while being impaired, and failure to stay in the proper lane. While the driver had been under the care of a physician and been prescribed many number of medications authorities would not say which medications he was on at the time of the crash, noted a New York Injury Lawyer.

While under the influence, the driver began to drive erratically. He eventually weaved his sports utility vehicle across the double yellow line and smashed into the victim’s car. For what seemed like forever the victim lay trapped inside his car, unable to move, unable to get help, as he slowed died. By the time the victim finally arrived at the hospital he was declare dead on arrival, reports a New York Car Accident Lawyer.

They wake up every day and put their literal lives on the line. They sleep at the station, allow themselves to be waken up by barking dogs and whining alarms, and at a moments notice strap on nearly one hundred pounds of fire resistant rubber, plastic, and other gear, says a New York Injury Lawyer. They hop on to the back of a massive fire truck and hold on tight as the great machine rips through town. Best case scenario, these every day fire fighters arrive at the scene of a burning out of control blazing building and rush in with nothing more than an ax and bucket of water. Worst case scenario: they never make it there, notes a New York Car Accident Lawyer. And that’s what happened this time.

We’ve all seen fire trucks run through town. And we all know what to do: slow down, pull over to the side of the road, stop our cars, maybe say a little prayer that but for the grace of God goes I, and be thankful to the brave men and women who chose to be fire fighters. But one selfish, unthinking, stupid, foolish boar of a man did not do this, reports a New York Injury Lawyer. Where he saw the world slowing down, he thought he was better and could speed up. And so he did. He forcefully pressed the accelerator down and barreled through the intersection, says a New York Car Accident Lawyer. He drove his car as fast as he could – right until he slammed in to the side of the fire truck, T Boning the massive engine. And because of his mistake, three people have been injured.
